For the Budget Wonks: CapitalGainsandGames.com

Stan Collender's new blog -- CapitalGainsandGames.com -- is officially up and running.

Stan is an old friend, whose "Budget Battles" column I commissioned and then edited for many years at NationalJournal.com. He knows more about the federal budget than any person should, and -- though I don't get his love of "Dancing with the Stars" -- can be counted on for interesting insights on everything from Campaign 2008 to classic movies.

CapitalGainsandGames.com, which I've been helping to get off the ground, allows for greater frequency and wider range than the weekly column it now complements. As the tagline says, the focus is on "Washington, Wall Street and Everything in Between."
