Video Worth Watching: Eboo Patel on 'The Faith Line'

Great event at New America earlier today. Eboo Patel, a Muslim-American and author of "The Faith Line," spoke about religious tensions and what he sees at the real divide -- not the differences between Christians, Muslims, Jews and others, but the growing split between "religious pluralists and religious totalitarians" in all the major faiths.

Video of Patel's remarks are below; more details can be found here.

Book Review, NationalJournal.com

In the fall of 2000, Israeli journalist Yo'av Karny published "Highlanders: A Journey To The Caucasus In Quest Of Memory" -- a rich and detailed account of his travels and research in the mountainous region that stands between southeastern Russia and the Middle East.
